Foreclosed and Short Sale Homes For Sale in Northeast Florida

Here you can sign up to view all homes in the Northeast Florida area that have been foreclosed, which is also know as bank owned and REO (real estate owned). These the bank have taken possession of the home. Included in the search are also short sale homes, which is where the home owner owes more than the home is worth, and needs the bank to approve the short sale price. The bank does not own those, and the owner may or may not be behind in payments.

There also can be pre-foreclosure homes in this search as well. Those homes have the foreclosure process started, because the home owner is at least a few months behind on their mortgage payment. They are trying to sell the home before the bank forecloses on the home.
