List of Local Towns and Their Christmas lights Celebrations!
Usually I save the best for last, but I’m starting with the best and that’s The Nights of Lights in St Augustine. All the other locations are a close second and are amazing as well. Just can’t beat the amount of lights to enjoy in St Augustine. Lots of photo ops, hope you enjoy!
St Augustine Nights of Lights
When: November 23 2019 through February 2 2020
Where: Historic downtown St Augustine Florida
Nothing like strolling by the water with your hot chocolate in hand or taking a trolling through the city to view the lights. In the middle by Cathedral Place, is the giant Christmas tree that is the perfect back drop to take photos with friends and family.
Holiday Celebration & Tree Lighting
When: December 7 2019 from 3pm to 8pm
Where: 716 Ocean Blvd Atlantic Beach Florida 32233
From their facebook page: This a free event is where the Beaches Town Center, City of Atlantic Beach and City of Neptune Beach sponsor held at Beaches Town Center starting at 3pm. Join us for a bike parade, live entertainment, face painting, crafts for all ages and hay rides. The mayors of both cities light the community tree as Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive by sleigh at 6pm.
11th Annual Beaches Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join us for the official start to the Christmas season at the Beaches! Our 11th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be Friday, November 29th from 6:00PM – 8:30PM. We will have food, drinks, activities, specials and more!
Donations will be accepted to support Project Kind which creates opportunities and builds support systems for those experiencing homelessness!
The Champagne Toast will start at 8PM!

2019 Jacksonville Light Boat Parade
When: November 30 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm

A Jacksonville holiday tradition is making its return to Thanksgiving weekend. The City of Jacksonville is excited to announce the Jacksonville Light Boat Parade will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 on the St. Johns River.
Vessels of all shapes and sizes adorn their hulls with festive decorations as they float along the north and south banks of the St. John River. Residents and visitors alike gather along the north and south riverbanks in downtown Jacksonville to witness this magical event. The evening then culminates with one of the best fireworks show on the First Coast featuring “waterfalls” off of the Main Street and Acosta Bridges.
The boat parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. Boats will start at the Hyatt Regency Riverfront Hotel and follow along the Northbank Riverwalk to the Fuller Warren Bridge. The parade will then cross to the south bank and follow along the Riverwalk to the Duval County School Board building.
2019 Jax Beach Deck The Chairs
When: November 23 2019 starting at 5pm
Where: Sea Walk Pavilion and Latham Plaza Jacksonville Beach Florida
From their Facebook page: JBDTC is a winter holiday public art display set on the oceanfront and featuring more than 40 decorated lifeguard chairs. The display is free and open daily with lights on between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m.. Highlights include a 30-foot whimsical music tree and magical light show, children’s dance and choral programs, plus loads of additional weekend activities.

Where: Downtown on the Bayfront.
