I’m going to start this blog post with some controversial information. We reference neighborhoods by legal subdivision name and common in our MLS. Legal is the name used in the legal description of the property. This is for neighborhoods where there’s a master community and then smaller neighborhoods within the master community. So let’s talk about this neighborhood. The legal name is Argyle Forest Chimney Lakes. Which involves multiple neighborhoods. Now for the controversial part: This is one whole neighborhood. There are not two separate ones. No one knows which side is lakes and which side is woods. Especially when there are no woods, or a lake for that matter. Now don’t get me wrong, there are lakes nearby, just not in here. I know what you’re thinking….Pam Graham you’re weird. Perhaps.
Now you’re wanting to know where here is exactly. Argyle area in Jacksonville, in the county of Duval. Right by Orange Park. I295 is so close and NAS Jax is about 15-20 mins away. Scroll below for the map and slowly scroll for more neighborhood information.

Timber Woods began in 1993 and was completed in 1994, so it was very quick to be completed. There are about 134 homes ranging in size of 1,200 square feet up to a little 2,300 square feet.
There is a Home Owner’s Association that is around $125 a quarter. You have available a community pool, clubhouse, playground, basketball and tennis courts to enjoy.

The location here is pretty amazing. Shopping is super close by. Here’s a list of some of the bigger names. Target, Home Depot, Publix, Winn Dixie. Starbucks, Gator Dockside, Crumble Cookies, Kohls and this is just a couple miles away. Orange Park Mall is not far, plus so many other stores to shop at.
