2015 Fall Festivals and Truck & Treats in Northeast Florida

000_0303That’s my boy looking so cute in his M & M costume about 12 years ago. He didn’t look very thrilled there. He probably wouldn’t be very pleased now, knowing I used this photo for my blog post. I won’t tell!! 🙂 If I remember correctly, we were getting ready to head out to a local Fall Festival to enjoy Halloween.

Speaking of Fall Festivals, here’s a list of some in Northeast Florida.

Middleburg Florida:

First Baptist Church of Middleburg

Date: October 31st 2015

Time: 5pm-7pm

Orange Park Florida:

Fall Festival Town of Orange Park– Corner of Kingsley and Park Ave Orange Park 32073 904-264-2635

Date: Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th, 2015

Hours: 10am-5pm with Opening Ceremonies beginning at 10:00am on Saturday

Cost: Admission is free

Parking: Parking will be available at Moosehaven with a FREE shuttle service running throughout the day and some space will be available closer to Town Hall. We have a limited amount of handicap parking spaces available at our Police Department off of Smith Street.

 

Jacksonville Florida:

 Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 24, 12 pm-2 pm

Trunk Or Treat Halloween Alternative, Saturday, Oct. 31, 6-8:30 pm

  • FREE
  • Decorate Car Trunk and Truck Beds
  • Wear costumes and bring candy to distribute
  • kids will trick or treat trunk to trunk
  • Prizes for best costumes and trunks
  • live music
  • food and more

Fall Festival Sunday, Oct. 25, 4 pm-7 pm

Bounce houses, giant slide, rock climbing wall, pony rides, barrel train, miniature ferris wheel, carnival treats, carnival games, free hot dog dinner & more!

Truck or Treat Wednesday October 28 at 5 PM

Decorate your car trunk, and your family. (fun & friendly costumes only, please 🙂 and join us for Trunk-or-Treat fun on The POINT Wednesday, October 28th from 5-7pm! Creative costumes? Tricked Out Trunks? What more could you want? Delicious food?! Ok…we’ve got that too! Chef Amy Moseby has created a Fun Fair Food Menu:

Chicken and Waffle bites (staff favorite!)
Nacho Chips and Cheese
Brat Bites (Bratwursts, not brAts:)
Whoopie Pies
Brownies
Caramel Apple Cookie Bars

Each items is $1 and tea and lemonade for FREE!

 

UF Developmental Pediatrics Annual Fall Family Festival  6271 St Augustine Rd Suite 1 Jacksonville 32217 904-633-0760

 Family Festival takes place on Saturday, Oct 24 11 AM to 2 PM

The festival is an awareness event for all families with special needs. Join us for music, games, snacks, and balloon art for what promises to be our biggest festival to date. We’ll have train rides, face painting, a magician, cool Jeeps, a performance by the drum line ensemble, and much more.

Admission to this event is at no cost to the individual. Parents must supervise their children at all times.

Fall Festival Friday October 23 starting at 6PM.

Fun games, bounce houses and slides, live music, and everything is free except the concessions. Food available for purchase includes BBQ, Chick-fil-A, Domino’s, and other concessions. It’s always a fun night so bring your friends and we’ll see you there!
