What’s the Neighborhood Like?
Fairway Village is a smaller village inside of Fleming Island Plantation. In fact, it’s only one street, that ends in a cul de sac. Fairway Village’s single family homes started being built in 2000, finished out with 75 homes in 2001. Square footage starts around 1500 and goes up to a little over 2400. A nice blend of one story and two story homes, with varying elevations and designs.
What’s Going on Nearby Fairway Village in Fleming Island Plantation?
You have shopping. You have a movie theater. Lots of places to get your grub on. There’s also a pet adoption center, located by the Sonic and O2B Kids, for the Clay County Animal Shelter, where you can find your next BFF. If boats are your thing, you have a few marinas close by and a couple of public boat ramps, one being right off Lakeshore Dr in Eagle Harbor, which drops you in Doctors Lake that leads you to the St Johns River. There’s two golf courses in Fleming Island , one in Eagle Harbor and one in the Plantation of Fleming Island Golf Club . If you’re looking to get off the island for a bit, well you can go south to historical St Augustine, which also has beaches. Some you can drive on, so no carrying all your beach stuff very far. You can head north to Jacksonville, maybe catch a football game or a concert at The Jacksonville Arena. Go east and you can end up at more beaches, like Jax Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach and a few more.
What School’s Will The Kids Attend?
